The photo-cum-cover design won a bronze award in the 27th International ARC Awards, a globally recognized platform that honours exceptional and high standards in corporate Annual Reports.
The annual report marks the 8th consecutive year that Food Empire has won accolades in the competition.
Its annual report 2012 was the Grand Award winner in the "Best of International - Asia Pacific" category.
In addition, it won in the following areas:

> Printing & Production – Silver
> Non-Traditional Format - Bronze
> Executive Chairman’s Letter – Bronze
"This highlighted our commitment to clarity in our communications to our stakeholders,” said Mr Tan Wang Cheow, the Executive Chairman of Food Empire, which is the leading producer of 3-in-1 coffee in countries such as Russia.
The annual report was titled “Discovering New Opportunities”, and portrayed the challenges the Group faces and the opportunities that lie amidst these challenges.
The judges looked at how successful the company has been in communicating its story and in reflecting the values of creativity, clarity, effectiveness and excellence.
The judges comprised of presidents, CEOs and other senior executives of corporations, agencies and design firms from around the world.
