Been observing this share for some time. Very high revenue and profit growth for the past two years and management has been very vocal on winning new contracts and recording higher growth.

Multiple contract wins this year and management hinting on more contract wins.

Stock has been largely ignored by brokers so far apart from a non rated report from CIMB. However, was just reading the annual report and realised many brokerage are substantial shareholders, including UOB Kay Hian, Philips, OCBC.

Why did they not cover report on this stock then? Perhaps silently accumulating more before disseminating information to public?

Just last week Sunpower won another huge contract. Share price has escalated from 50c to 80c this year. With China growing participation in fighting pollution, this green energy stock has more leg to run

In many annual reports, the names of the broking houses will appear among the top 20 shareholders. this doesn't mean they are the actual shareholders, instead they have clients with nominee accounts holding those shares.

Sunpower shares are tightly held. Hence it is illiquid. That could be the reason there is hardly any coverage by the broking houses.

The boss of The Edge has bought Sunpower in exchange for China Sunsine.

Sunpower, I agree.

China Sunsine -- he should not have sold it. imho. The valuation is 6-7X, how can that be expensive? The other positive is that as capex slows down this year and next year, the cash pile of Sunsine will exceed RMB1 billion.

Lousy China market and Sunpower overhang of exercised share options are teaming up to cause problems for Sunpower share price. Now 29.5 cents.

Sunpower said that on 16 October 2018 the Company issued and allotted an aggregate of 1,485,000 ordinary shares at an exercise price of S$0.116 each, pursuant to the exercise of options granted under the Sunpower Employee Share Option Scheme.
The New Shares listed on the Singapore Exchange on 19 October.

Then the stock was 53 cents. Guess, those employees sold down .....to 29.5 cents today, plus shorting by jokers.
Despite announcement after announcement of contracts by Sunpower. Buying opportunity?
