Buffets seem to be a clear favourite for most Singaporeans and we are no different. With an abundance of options, diners are spoilt for choice indeed. Indulge at Park has just launched a weekend-only Asian BBQ dinner that sees a premium selection of meats and seafood that include lobsters, scallops and US flat rib beef grilled upon request. With the counters set up in the garden courtyard, expect to be greeted with a waft of fragrance from the tantalising grills!
What differentiates this BBQ buffet is that one gets to choose from 10 special spice blends and sauces to season their meat before passing on to the chef to do the magic. Expect to be pampered with Asian exotic seasoning such as Malaysia's sambal to Teriyaki and garlic herbs.

Like most places that offer grill services, each table has two clips with their table numbers. So clip it onto your plate with the chosen meat slices and seasoning. Grilled a la minute, the orders will be served to you when done!
For those who are impatient, like us, do opt for the selected grills offered at the counter which include mussels, scallops, crayfish and even pineapple!
With over 80 dishes on offer, the buffet features Continental, Asian and local specialities such as Chef''s special Penang Assam laksa, chilled seafood on ice and assorted sashimi.
If Asian food is what you are craving for, expect to tuck in to some local delights such as satay, Thai spring rolls, prawn cakes and even ngoh hiang!
Apart from local treats such as satay, you can be your own chef with the DIY Penang rojak bowl where you have the opportunity to do your own mix!
Moving on from the savoury dishes, no buffet is complete without a nice dessert offering. While the usual sweet treats include mini macarons, cupcakes and cheesecakes, there is a precious pot of durian pengat that attracts swarms of guests. Well, the best proof is that the entire pot is gone in less than three minutes from leaving it on the serving counter! What also appeals to the kids, and even us, is the DIY chendol bar!
Available from now till 27 September 2015, the Asian BBQ buffet is available only every Friday and Saturday, 6.30 - 10.30 pm. While most of the dishes were decent, the outdoor live grill would be the key highlight to this buffet. Priced at an affordable S$62/++ for adults and S$32.50/++ for 4-12 year-olds, be sure to place a booking prior to visiting as it was full-house when we visited!
