No activity this morning at 930. Will it spring back to life as the day wears on? 17 cents could be breached - considering its momentum for the past few weeks. Unless something drastic happens in the West.
Serial book building is gonna start. The issue price for each TDR during the book-building exercise is expected to be within the range of NT$10.98 to NT$12.75 (approximately S$0.155 to S$0.18 per ordinary share).
16.4 cents ......Serial shares now at somewhere in the centre of the range. Looks like there is a natural cap on the upside and downside in the next 1 week.
Derek Goh, the chairman, continued his accumulation, buying 100,000 shares today at 10 cents. What does he see in the stock? Electronics distribution will be facing challenges in the months ahead? Wasn't the supply chain affected by the massive Thai floods? Only thing I can think of is the dividend yield, which he is in the know. If he maintains the final dividend at 0.67 cent, then that payout alone will be 6.7% yield --- ie, not counting the interim for FY12 to complete the full 12-month cycle, assuming one buys now.
Surprising to know its dividend yield has kept up at 6% or so. This proves that when the CEO owns a big chunk of the company, his interest will be v aligned with miorities'. AGree?
Recovered from 8.9 a few days ago to currently 9.5 cents. Conclusion: Share buyback is important! Absorbs short-term selling and signals positive news. Why can't the bloody S-chips recognise this?
