Think like Design Studio and Kingsmen Creative have rested too long since their final full 09 results have been released... Both stuck at 0.605-0.610 range... PE still very low... 6 for DS and 7+ for Kingsmen. Mkt, it\'s time to wake up and do some justification to these two shining stones.

newbie123, you got yr wish today. Stock is up 2 ct at 62.5 cents. Volume is not hot, at 93,000 shares, but then this is not exactly a liquid counter. Kim Eng had a lunch with CEO, and then reiterated buy with $1 target. The abalone must hv been good... hahahha..

haha... Thanks, Harlequin. Still a bit far from the 70 cents + in the 52 wk high, considering now STI is already greater than 2870+... Guess the disappointing Q4 result has a huge impact... I loaded Design Studio twice, first @ 0.645 cents before the correction and at the second time @0.590 cents. A pity didn\'t do profit taking before the correction comes... I am planning to hold this counter from a mid-to-long term horizon... Hope it can cheong more...

What is there to like about Design Studio? Plenty: 1. It has virtually no debt. 2. It has cash of S$36 million. 3. Its net profit margins in 2008 and 2009 were exciting at 17% and 22%, respectively. These 3 metrics alone tell you of a wonderful underlying biz. And it sells for only 4-5X PE.....at 64 cents recently

There\'s a lot more to it than just those few points. One must understand the business itself, industry and how the Company makes money. Frankly, it\'s not as easy as it looks - to invest I mean. A very voluminous amount of research must be done, and it extends far beyond the numbers and PER. Cheers!
