Thank you BW for highlighting the warrants. Aside from sales this morning, there is a queue to buy at 1.5 cents.
Either these guys know something very positive or they are mad.
The warrant exercise price is 30 cents and the mother is now trading at 25 cents only.
Anyone buying the warrants, even at 1.5 cents, must be sure the mother can go to at least 31.5 cents (just to break even). Realistically, the mother must go to 35 cents to be worth a punt on the warrants.
Now, from 25 to 35 cents -- it's a long road. And time is short. I think Game Over is in July 2013.
How much $ will Dora & Doreen have to cough up to convert the warrants, assuming the stock price runs past 30 cents by July?
Dora had 2.4 m warrants according to 2011 annual report. She has to cough up S$720,000. Peanuts to her lah! Same too with Doreen who also has 2.4 m warrants.
Their joint investment vehicle D2 has 15 m warrants. It's cash S$4.5 million for conversion. This will be covered by the final dividend of 0.6 cent a share for the 75 m shares that D2 owns.
Thanks for sharing. Interestingly after checking its announcement last 6 mths, I saw that Best World has sold 2 properties on 25 Jan 13. It would realize a gain of $1.8m in 1Q2013 and increase its NTA by 1 cts. Is this coincidental?
