Me doubt it. How can mgt indicate pricing of KTIS when the SEC has not even approved the IPO? There is also a bookbuilding process that needs to be carried out -- not sure if this has been started. In addn, mgt said that KTIS will choose to time IPO with a stronger market sentiment. Goodness knows if the IPO will even happen next month, or next quarter. Year-end seems to be a better time when markets tend to rally ahead of the Jan effect. Just my guess.
Has anyone thought of the likelihood of KTIS paying dividends? If there are dividends and if King Wan holds a good % of its KTIS shares, then this will be an interesting addition to the bottomline.
Back of the envelope calcn: If King Wan sells off $10 m worth of its $50 million KTIS shares in year 1, its outstanding $40 m could earn S$1.2 m in dividends assuming a 3% yield.
$1.2 m is not peanuts compared to King Wan's core earnings of about $7 m (2013 fy figure).
