Anybody here think Techcomp can do a Biosensors next year? A 3-bagger in 52 weeks.... yet still loss-making.

3-bagger means the stock would have to reach $1 or so. Can meh? Even I a believer am .... scratching my head. hahahaa.... The newsflow from Techcomp has been very low in the last few months. They should surface for air, and shout the good news about more business - if that is what is happening. So quiet instead. I am just going by their 2H performance in past years where they have done very well in 2H to guess that it would be the case again this year. Actually this 2H should be even much better because of contributions from their M&A & JV activities. Still, it\'s an educated guess - which can turn out to be very wrong. Why do you yourself have a bold 3-bagger prediction?

if Techcomp’s revenue grows at 20% for the full FY09, and the net profit margin returns to its norm, then the net profit could come to US$7.8 million, or earnings per share of 7.3 Singapore cents. That translates into a PE ratio of 4.5X for FY09 based on today\'s stock price of 33 cents. www.nextinsight.net/content/view/1424/79/

I am not so gung ho.. I am projecting around USD 7-7.5 million for 2009. I assume a 20% organic growth in 2010. Which will bring the profit to USD 8.4 million. The acquisitions made in 2009 should contribute decent revenue around USD 30-40 million to Techcomp\'s revenue in 2010. Assuming that they can squeeze out 6-8% net profit margin, we are looking at an additional USD 1.8 million to USD 3.2 million profit to the bottomline. That means Techcomp\'s 2010 profit is potentially, USD 10.2 million to USD 11.6 million. EPS will be around 10.5 cents.

Up 4 cents! Now 34 cents, still a long way from being a multi-bagger. Perhaps 70 cents???? Pity, no newsflow from Techcomp for so long. Wonder what it is really like. Today seems like there is buying interest suddenly. Got 67,000 shares in the buy queue at 33 cents.

Reposting what I said in another thread.   Hi Musicwhizz, Techcomp\'s French acquisition is funded via internal resources. They bought the Company in 2H2009. Hence, they will only consolidate 3-4 months sales into the Company. Full contribution will be in 2010. My understanding, speaking to the Chairman is that Techcomp will provde more producs for them to sell in Europe and also help them to reduce costs by doing global sourcing for their raw materials. This should improve the sales by 10-15%. Hence, I am looking at sales contribution of around USD 10-12m from this acquisition. If we put a normal 7% margin to this Company, we are looking at additional USD 1m profit. Techcomp has a track record of growing 20% every year. If they can do it in 2010, then we will see a good growth to around USD 130m sales. If they achieve their normal margin range of 7-9%, then we are looking at FY2010 PE of around 3-4x for Techcomp. Not to forget the dividends.
