NEXTINSIGHT, several analysts and journalists will be traveling today to check out Green Build Technology's projects in Harbin, the provincial capital of Heilongjiang. After the Singapore-listed group disposes its packaging business, the green technology business (Harbin Shengming Energy Saving Technology) acquired last year will be its mainstay. In February 2014, Harbin Shengming Energy Saving Technology was commissioned by a government task force to cut down energy consumption costs of buildings by refurbishing infrastructural insulation and heating systems. The Group currently has contracts covering about 5 million sq m of built-up area to be upgraded over the next 2 to 3 years.
