The stock price is stable at 67-68 cents. My good friend expects it to rise when one or both of these catalysts materialise (which might not take too long).
1. Vessel orders for the Jaya - IHC partnership.
2. Confirmation of two vessels sold and delivered in the second quarter (Oct - Dec 2012).Â

I have just added Jaya into my small cap portfolio - low P/B, decent P/E, strong balance sheet and good dividend yield. Operating in a sunrise sector. These parameters are what I look for. Not concern with what funds do, their objectives are different and they do switch positions in their holdings. This stock is in OSK's small cap list. Based on the sector they are in, my view is that we should go long - not for trading.
Announced that it has appointed advisers to conduct a review of the strategic options available to the company to enhance and unlock shareholder value.
It said it would keep shareholders informed of any material developments.
But the latter should also note that there is no certainty that the review will result in any proposal or strategic option being implemente
With price/book at about 70%, there are options for the management to consider this strategy. In my view there must be something in the pipeline to support this announcement. Stock is cum dividend 3.5 cents. Attractive small cap.
