Anyone can give more insights? In Malaysia, Berjaya has been buying shares of Atlan -- Atlan is the parent company of Duty Free as Atlan owns about 80% of Duty Free.

What intent does Berjaya have for Duty Free? It's not apparent to me. Anyone can say with conviction? Or is Berjaya just interested in Atlan , which has other interests apart from Duty Free. ...?

Atlan keep breaking history high. Today $4.55 over at bursamalaysia. Historical high for Duty Free is 60 cents... still room for appreciation

I was at ZON JB yesterday, shopping mall is spacious but business is slow. Nice Hotel with dinning area fronting the sea but was the only person there.

divads27, I think Berjaya is pursuing Atlan, so Atlan cheong in Malaysia. But Berjaya has no direct interest in Duty Free  leh. Why would Berjaya chase up the parent but not the subsi?
