greenrookie, me agree with you that the critical thing is Flucard must kill the SD card, then the Flucard is going to be a real revenue contributor to Trek. I am not too worried about the wi-fi capability now found in cameras without Flucard.
It seems that putting forward looking technology into common, low value devices is not really paying off. I've been sitting on this stock quite a while.

Why don't Trek combine their solid flash memory technology with their miniture wifi technology and put it all in a designer watch. So we'd always have our wireless thumbdrive on our wrist wherever we go. Flucard could also automatically backup our pics to our watch as we take them.

They have the tech... they just have to sell it better. You know... Make it desireable.
Trek's Flucard has a change of name to FlashAir and Trek's partner, Toshiba, has put its name on the product. Makes good sense from a marketing point of view to brand the card as Toshiba's.
Toshiba Flash Air WiFi SD card at CES 2012!
S$58 is quite a comedown from the S$100 that it was sold at initially, maybe just 6 months ago. The good thing is, S$58 is a good price to kickstart mass adoption of this wonderful device.
