If anyone is going to the AGM, pls ask about the plans for the Singapore Flyer + the current situation. There is a dearth of info on this asset although it's possible that it will be a profit contributor in Year 1 already.
Hi, would you be able to briefly share any highlights of what was said about the Flyer, for the benefit of the rest of us who were not able to attend? Thanks so much.
1. Singapore Flyer is profitable since day one after taking over without incuring any start-up cost.
2. Singapore Flyer is now on consolidation phrase and the new management are in no hurry to make changes. The new management prefer to let everything to settle down before making any changes.
3. The management review that they had done their homework and has interesting plan for the inprovement on The Flyer.
4. The Flyer new management will reveal the plan for The Singapore Flyer in a few months time and they seem very excited about it.
5. Straco management are already working closely on the new plan with the Singapore Tourism Board and the Goverment bodies for the success of The Singapore Flyer because the Flyer is a prominent feature of the Singapore skyline to attract tourists to Singapore.
My conclusion base on my observation are Singapore Flyer is a wonderful catch by Straco. They have interesting plan in place to inprove the Singapore Flyer and they seem very confidence. They have good working relation with STB and the Goverment bodies. So be patient and wait for the news for the Singapore Flyer. This afternoon Straco already show some interest and share price increased by 4.5 cents on above average volume.
