I am curious if the depreciating yen has a positive impact on its sales and profit margins of Mitsubishi diesel engines. Are its keenest competitors Japanese brands too? Will these distributors pass on the cost savings to their end customers, or keep some for a higher gross margin?
29.5 cents just two weeks ago. Now, 43.5 cents. An acquisition must be coming, considering all that cash that is in the war chest of XMH and, recently, from Credence.
xmh now +3 cents & has hit 46.5 cents!
Credence -- Koh Boon Hwee's vehicle -- is 1st insti investor. U think it will be the last? If Koh can get interested, others will also want to get in. The big stumbling block is the price of course. Already run like crazy.
SINO GRANDNESS is clearly an undervalued stock. After correcting from $1.60 to $1.265, it is going to attract value investors who missed the boat earlier. Just my 2 cts worth.
Some interesting small caps have corrected in the past 2 days. Look tempting. Some S-chips have shown strength, surprisingly. China Powerplus (damn risky as it is on the SGX Watchlist) & China Mining (asset injection announced) are examples.
