Hiap Hoe probably touched bottom today at 54.5 cents, rebounding to 58 cents at the closing of the market. Crazy guy to sell at 54.5 cents a stock that is worth $1.20+ in RNAV.
Just wanna share something on the Hiap Hoe Holdings family feud. There was a precedence of a holding company that was the majority shareholder of Hwa Hong being broken up way back in 2003.
A distribution in specie of its assets to the minority shareholders was the result, so we could possibly be looking at a similiar conclusion here.

Superbowl's AGM will be held 20th Apr and Hiap Hoe's would be on 30th Apr, hopefully we would have a little more light on the situation after these 2 interesting AGMs.
Hello Wiki, what is the implication on Hiap Hoe Ltd's stock price of a distribution of shares of HH Holdings to its sharholders?
I don't think there is anything major -- at least not right away.
What I like about Hiap Hoe Ltd, the listco, is that:
after record earnings for FY11, with net profit of S$47.4 million, the next two years will continue to be great. HH Ltd has substantially pre-sold projects, Waterscape at Cavenagh and Skyline 360°.
The market has not priced in the strong future earnings because Hiap Hoe is such a low-profile company.
I also like its Zhongshan Park (Balestier Road) hotel-cum-commercial development. This is going to raise the profile of Hiap Hoe substantially. With the two hotels, HH will derive steady revenue to add to the cyclical property development revenue.
There is some residual selling pressure from the buying binge a month ago. Another way to look at it is, there is weak buying interest, so the price continues slipping. I would be surprised if it went down below 50 cents. It would be almost a complete reversal after hitting 68 cents.
Thank you for the info === you sure have a keen interest in the court case. As for the stock price, it's continued to slip which is surprising as it is at such a big discount to RNAV of $1.10+++. Wiki, what is your take on the stock price?
