My thoughts:
From the table, it seems office has the highest vacancy rate and the highest percentage of office space in terms of available space coming online. Office rates getting into trouble soon?
Maybe that is why office reit didn't enjoy that much of today's rally?
Medium term, is Suntec REIT ok to go in at this level ($1.61)? The dividend payout is assured I assume, which will mean about 6%. Of course, if Suntec goes down some more to $1.50, then the case for investing becomes even stronger.
Major re-rating of REITs seems to be happening. Suntec REIT is a blue blue chip among the REITs, yet the selling ain't done at this point as it has slid to $1.54.
