Hi For your information, Sino Grandness will be presenting at an investor conference organized by DMG on 5th January 2012 in Singapore ...... other S-chips presenting at the DMG conference may include China Minzhong, China Animal and Midas as they were highlighted in DMG recent update report.
immediately after the DMG conference, Sino Grandness will be hosting a plant visit for fund managers to visit new juice production facilities in Chengdu and HQ office in Shenzhen.
Is this a Coca Cola of China in the making?
Sino G is up 2 cents only... trading at 40 cents -- will it regain its heights of 70 cents?
Sino Grandness Doubles Output Capacity For Bottled Juices In Anticipation Of Strong Order Growth In 2012
· Annual output capacity for bottled juices from external suppliers will double to approximately 140,000 tonnes from 70,000 tonnes from January 2012
· New strategic supply point in Zhejiang Province, PRC to support expansion into new provinces in north-eastern regions of China
· Internal production facilities for bottled juices in Sichuan and Hubei provinces expected to commence operations progressively in 2012
· Expanded capacity for bottled juices to support target of doubling beverage segment net profit in FY2012 to RMB140 million from RMB70 million in FY2011.
Expansion needs cash. Sino Grandness only has RMB 32 M of cash according to the 3Q2011 financial statements. This is my greatest worry. Will there be another round of fund raising to raise money?
Reck, Sino Grandness has been paying dividends, which make it a rare S-chip. The payments were 4.4 rmb cents and 5.4 rmb cents in 2011 and 2010, respectively.
Azzaramich, While Sino Grandness has rmb32 m cash only and sure needs more, there are positives to note about its cashflow:
1. It generated net cash inflow of RMB30.8 million from operating activities in the 9m2011.
2. Its trade receivables are much higher now (as a result of increase in revenue), and this will generate higher cashflow from operations when the distributors pay up. Trade payables are also up but not as much as the AR.
having said that, I agree that SG can do with more cash infusion to support its expansion. That is why they wanted to do a TDR but that didn't materialise becos of poor market conditions. So, it could happen -- they have a rights issue or a share placement before long....
