erelation, your stock pick Teckwah is up up and away. AT 33 cents, which is a good 2 cents up now. What price is a good exit point, assuming they dont give a special dividend? If they give a special, then it\'s a matter of factoring in the special div and see what\'s fair.
I think it will be a guessing game what Ho Bee boss is up to.... Can it just be a passive investment? What really attract him to buy into Teck Wah? Perhaps he see some value that we have yet to see......Also the pick up of IT sector is sure to improve Tech Wah performance.... and may bring in more cash than its requirement. No target price for now....
I guess we\'ll know the answer when its full year result is out. For short term target price, i am looking at least at 40 cents. To be fair, it is undervalued since it\'s still traded close to 30% discount below NAV. My guess is that Mr Chua bought Teckwah, probably not just for the special dividend alone, but probably he observes some strong growth potential in Teckwah. If just for dividend, might as well go buy some good reits. If this company has minimal growth, when it hits , share price will tumble after ppl start selling. For a substantial shareholder like him whom hold a lot of shares, it may be hard for him to sell it. It will be growth that will determine if Teckwah\'s stock price will be sustaining in the long run. If full year results can show significant revenue and profit margin growth, I may hold this stock longer... and probably wait for it to hit around 50 cents - 60 cents by year end. Just my 2 cents of opinion Do exercise yr own judgement... (not gurantee anything)
*BULL in MIND* :woohoo: QUOTE from Hulumas: SHAREJUNCTION But bear in mind.... The SGX\'s all liquid counters are in consolidation period throughout 2010 (US capital market suck huge of the region fund to capitalize her second continous stimulus programme) so liquid big, market capitalisation counters are mostly subjected to downward pressure trend which BB as the medium to transfer the fund indirectly into US and EURO region capital market! ........ While illiquid, small capitalisation have so far depressed in value will reveal their true intrinsic value reflecting on the market throughout 2010, and least effected by the capital market money flow in to US and EURO region in 2010. HENCE, invest only in illiquid counters to safegard your hard earned money while riding the upward trend wave of capital appreciation from month to month till at least three years from now! :woohoo: Hulumas ( Date: 18-Feb-2010 12:53) Posted: You totally get my point!
