The warrants traded at 6.5 cents today. Low volume of 21K wrts, which is a surprise to me anyway. The price is about \'right\' cos add in the exercise price of 30 cents, and you get 36.5 cents, a 18% premium to the mother share. Over time, I expect the mother share to rise to 40 cents in the next few months, so the warrants will be pulled up by at least the corresponding amount, which is 9 cents + 6. 5 cts = 17.5 c. In % terms, such an increase is massive, as it is about 138%. That\'s the gearing at play.
Mother share is 34.5 cents today. Pity no one\'s selling the warrants at 7,8,9 cents. Lowest seller is 10 cents. That\'s why, bestworld, the warrant will be mispriced on some days. Illiquidity ... but it looks like the shareholders are holding tight to the warrants they got as bonus wrts. In due time, when the mother share goes up and up, the warrants will also float up and their % rise will be very significant.
Either the warrant is mispriced or the mother share is mispriced? Make no sense for an option of 3 years to buy Best World share is only priced at 2.5c premium!
