ASIATRAVEL.COM 20cents PLACEMENT @ 40m

Nearly 2 months on, and ASIATRAVEL.com is back again at bargain levels. 25.5-26 cents. Yield is fantastic if and when the privatisation takes place @ 30 cents.

Shares can be had for 25.5 cents currently. Cheap....

23-23.5 cents. Unbelievably cheap *(if the 30-cent offer eventually materialises)

Trading halt! What is the announcement to come? That GO is on? 30 cents??? LOL

Shocked that there is no GO, change of mind and they will pursue a share placement. Share price has already drifted down and priced in this non-GO, I think. The question here now is whether the market will like the S$100 m cash that the China company will inject into Asiatravel. It will matter a lot to Asiatravel but the fruits will come later. The current management cannot exit via share sale....

This sort of crazy U-turn by Zhonghong is something to remember!
