SGX has revamp the listing requirement late last year. One of them is IPO has to be priced at 50 cents above.

Several counters are affected: Tee Land, Mencasts are examples

BUT why do some counters not affected by the new requirements?

eg: Soilbuild IPO of 25 cents....

Why the inconsistency??

how come no one question SGX about this.. seems that some company can list at below 50 cents while some can't. No consistency ???

I also don't know. Can someone email SGX?

Soilbuild looked prettified for the wedding / IPO.

In 2012, revenue cheonged, net profit cheonged. Other gains cheonged & admin expenses fell.

This changes the equation:

Soilbuild said to plan industrial property REIT IPO
Wednesday, 06 February 2013 10:22

Soilbuild Group Holdings, a Singapore developer, is considering an initial public offering of its industrial properties, said three people with knowledge of the matter.

Soilbuild, run by Lim Chap Huat, may list the properties as a real estate investment trust in the city-state, said the people, asking not to be identified as the plans are private. The IPO may take place in the second half of 2013 and could raise about $500 million , two people said.

The company, founded in 1976 as a residential developer, expanded into building offices and factories eight years ago, and now has about 6.3 million square feet of industrial space, according to its website. Lim Cheng Hwa, Soilbuild’s director of capital management, declined to comment on the potential IPO.

With QE tapering fears subsiding, Soilbuild REIT has firmed up to 76 cents. Still below IPO price of 78 cents.

Surely there is more upside + there is dividend yield of 7-8%.
