With NAV at 40 cents . it is severly undervalued and possibility for parent company to take it private too . Since this counter lacks trading activities .
Just buy and hold . Wait for good news or dividend .
Mercator story is not crystal clear. Prefer JAYA HOLDINGS, given that fund managers have been accumulating throughout this year. They must be anticipating that JAYA would refinance its debt and start to pay dividends. .
That will depend on whether you like what nextinsight reported as jaya already up 25% and what you said is maybe going to pay dividend.. still worth it or too risky for jaya

Just be cautious with NAV, most of Mercator's ships were new ships bought during peak, and using whatever depreciation method the book value of those ships are still much higher than you buy a new ship from the market now. If you compare it with Courage Marine, which only buys second hand ships at low, Mercator seems to be very attractive because of high NAV, but it is actually not the case.
but bro do you understand NAV in the first place ... this ratio(value) is calculated quarter by quarter in a company's reporting
NAV = (total asset - total liabilities ) / total outstanding shares .
this value fluctuate according to the value of your assets ect (be it cash balance + trade receivables + current valuation of vessel , plants and equipments ) . Also if company issued more shares etc , NAV will go down also ............
so 40cents NAV now means a 40cents NAV . Don't be too blur to talk about what depreciation of vessel bought during last time or 2nd hand vessel from courage marine etc ..
