did some reading - appears that its a strong business model. and it\'s still growing nicely as the company seeks new cargo to transport. seems like their containers are versatile, and there are lots of conventional packings that can be replaced by goodpack\'s. www.nextinsight.net/content/view/1464/60/ the only reservation people hv is that the stock\'s valuation is not dirt cheap. hah! for those looking for multi baggers, there are other gems to pick up - such as sinotel and techcomp, and best world. goodpack shld be a good stock for safekeeping for a while - hjust my humble opinion. am happy if u disagree with good reasons.

Further to research, i guess the main reason is that there are a couple of funds holding this company, (i think is 2 big funds holding ard 7% each). Somemore Wong NL is a big shareholder of this company. They recently want to diversify into different revenue streams instead of concentrating on rub

Somemore Wong NL is a big shareholder of this company. They recently want to diversify into different revenue streams instead of concentrating on rubber only, lucky not business. Guess risk is the execution part and of course funds dumping this stock... not vested (yet)

Fantastic business now for sale. Who's buying?
If not Brambles, maybe some Chinese tycoon>?

SYDNEY--Brambles Ltd. (BXB.AU) said Thursday it had recently approached Singapore's Goodpack Ltd. (G05.SG) about making a possible takeover bid for the packaging company.

Brambles confirmed it had approached Goodpack on several occasions, including in the recent past.

"However, these discussions did not progress and Brambles is not currently in active discussions with Goodpack," the company said.

Brambles said it would continue to "monitor the situation," without elaborating.
