NORDIC GROUP said its wholly-owned subsidiaries (Multiheight Scaffolding, Austin Energy (Asia) and Nordic Flow Control), have won 4 contracts totalling SGD 3.3 million in value.

» Multiheight and Austin secured three contracts totalling SGD 2 million in value to provide labour and materials to perform scaffolding and insulation works for Chevron Carboxylate Project, Pfizer Milling Facility Project and SEA VAE Project.

Initial phases of the contracted works for Multiheight and Austin will commence in Q3 2015 and these projects will continue up to Q3 2016.

»  Nordic Flow Control has been awarded a contract to supply Hydraulic and Pneumatic Valve Control System to a Semi-Submersible Light Workover Unit, owned by Brazilian company Etesco Construções e Comércio Ltda for Petróleo Brasileiro S.A (Petrobras).

The contract with a value of SGD 1.3 million was awarded by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co. with expected delivery of the Light Workover Unit by Q2 2016.

The above contracts are not expected to have material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of Nordic Group Limited for the current financial year.

After about five years with Nordic Group, Catherine Thung, 32, resigns as its Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary with effect from next Monday (27 July 2015) to pursue other career opportunities.


She holds 116,000 Nordic shares. 

LionelChen7.15Her successor in the two roles is Lionel Chen Weiliang (pictured, right), 31, who was previously Group Accountant at Oakwell Distribution and Oakwell Engineering for nearly four years in total.

He started his career as an audit associate at Deloitte & Touche.
