敏華榮獲美國領先傢具雜誌評為美國十大傢具企業

MAN WAH Holdings Ltd (HK: 1999) is sitting very pretty, having broken into the top ten furniture suppliers to the lucrative US market, up from No.23 in 2009.
The award-winning Chinese enterprise with its “CHEERS” brand of recliner sofas was the best performer not only measured by the climb in its ranking, but was also the fastest-growing furniture supplier to the US in terms of sales gains by percentage increase in 2010 vs 2009.
Man Wah's ranking, according to Furniture/Today’s latest research report, is based on 2010 furniture shipments to the US market, including bedding, contract and accessories for some companies regardless of whether the companies have manufacturing and assembling operations in the US.
Non-furniture revenues such as textile products, components and investment income have been excluded.
“We are very encouraged by this international ranking. Our success further proves that our high quality, comfortable and stylish recliner sofas lead to happy customers.
“To capture the huge potential recliner sofa market in US, we will further expand our customer base and introduce more attractive products,” said Man Wah Chairman and CEO Mr. Wong Man Li.
Man Wah recently announced that it received more than 1.8 mln usd in orders, predominately from new customers, during its participation at the Birmingham Fair in the UK.
This represents approximately in excess of 100 containers and displays the “overwhelming demand and increasing popularity” of 'CHEERS' recliner sofas, the company said.
It also demonstrates the strong growth in the company's export sales as it continuously secures new customers in the European market.
Established in 1992, Man Wah Holdings Ltd is a home furnishing group, primarily engaged in the design, manufacture and sale of a broad range of mid to high-end recliner sofas (specialty sofas with features such as recliners and footrests), which are sold through extensive distribution channels in Hong Kong and the PRC, and via direct export to international markets such as the US and Europe under its well-known brand “Cheers.”
Man Wah is the No.1 recliner sofa manufacturer and retailer in the PRC.
Its “Cheers” brand has received the prestigious China Top Brand award in September 2007 from PRC authorities, and the Group currently operates two sofa plants and one bedding production facility in the PRC.
With the completion of Phase III of its Huizhou Daya Bay plant in February 2011, total sofa production capacity for the Group stands at 816,000 sofa sets per annum to meet growing demand from its expanding clientele base.

根據《今日傢具》的專業行業報告，集團不僅大幅提升其排名，亦為2010年度美國傢具企業銷售增長速度排名第一名。
報告是根據截至2010年12月底止12個月美國傢具付運總額作為統計基礎，包括寢具、合約及配件，不論該傢具是否在美國生產或組裝，非傢具收入如紡織產品、零件和投資收入將不計算在內。
