And she is a frequent speaker at workshops on CFD, as was the case yesterday evening at the 8th level boardroom of Kim Eng Securities in Market Street.

Between 6.30 pm and 8 pm, she walked 10 investors through the CFD way, highlighting the risks and rewards of using CFD – ‘the best thing since contra’.

She had several case studies involving specific stocks, and she had humourous stories to share from real-life trading.

If you wish to attend the next workshop by Janice on Thurs, July 22, send an email with your name and mobile number to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

A key tip you can learn is how to use CFD to leverage up to 10 times your deposit.

For example, to buy $30,000 worth of Capitaland, your CFD account needs to be funded for $3,000.

If Capitaland moves in your favour, the unrealised profit is immediately credited to your account, and vice versa.

The use of leverage cuts both ways: It will magnify your gains – and losses. How to manage that?

Let Janice show you.
